Disability Services
Services for students with disabilities or medical conditions are provided through Disability Services, at the University Counselling Service. This free and confidential service is available for prospective and enrolled students of the University, including students at regional campuses.
Disability Services has three core functions:
- Supporting the needs of students with disabilities.
- Supporting staff in meeting the needs of students with disabilities.
- Promoting an inclusive and accessible environment at Curtin through policy development and representation on University committees.
EduSafe
Services for staff with disabilities, injuries or illnesses are available through EduSafe. EduSafe's Injury Managers are WorkCover accredited internal rehabilitation providers for Curtin employees.
Services include:
- assistance with the management of injuries, illnesses and non work related health issues
- worksite analysis to determine job demand and duties
- workplace ergonomic evaluation and redesign, and
- short term loan of assistive equipment.

Ethics, Equity and Social Justice
Ethics, Equity and Social Justice (EE&SJ) provides information on the rights and responsibilities of individuals under relevant legislation, and provides information on procedures available to resolve EE&SJ issues or concerns.
